What neck liposuction achieves
Neck liposuction removes the fat under the chin and on the sides of the neck through tiny access points, revealing the angle between chin and neck and the jawline — usually as an outpatient procedure.
A double chin is not always a question of weight. Genetics, the shape of the jaw and a deep chin crease all play a part in whether fat shows under the chin. Exercise cannot change it; targeted liposuction can.
Because every millimetre counts on the neck, the work here is especially fine: with thin cannulas, evenly distributed, so that the skin lies smoothly and no transition remains visible. If you wish, the jawline can be contoured together with the neck.

What lies under the chin is decisive: fat that can easily be pinched is ideal for liposuction. If the fat lies deep beneath the neck muscle or the main issue is loose skin, liposuction alone is not enough.

Where neck liposuction reaches its limits
Liposuction removes fat but does not tighten clearly loose skin; if the skin on the neck sags, a lift is needed as well.

The result is permanent as long as you keep your weight stable. The fat cells that are removed do not grow back.
Is the procedure painful?
Thanks to local anaesthesia or twilight sedation you feel no pain during the procedure. Afterwards a slight feeling of tightness is possible, which soon eases.
