Dead skin cells block the pores. As a result sebum is produced excessively and acne arises. Aknebrasio - that is to say microdermabrasion against acne - gently removes the dead skin cells and "rinses out" the sebaceous glands. Traditional dermabrasion methods work in principle like a sandblasting procedure: with quartz crystals. The Aknebrasio used at the Kuzbari Centre for Aesthetic Medicine works, however, without crystals - but with plenty of water instead. This prevents over-reactions and irritation of the skin by delivering an intensive jet of water.

The method is outstandingly suited to the treatment and improvement of blemished, large-pored skin with a tendency to acne. An additional benefit: the method also has a preventive effect and prevents the formation of fine lines on the face, the neck and the décolletage.

In the 1st step the uppermost hardened layer of skin is removed. This happens by means of moistened, rotating tabs that mechanically extract flakes of skin, fluid and undissolved particles. The first successes appear as early as after the 1st session: the skin becomes more even and smoother.

Now the deeper layers of skin are loosened. This is achieved by micropulsation, in which the lymphatic and micro-circulation are stimulated. This improves the transport of harmful substances and the uptake of oxygen and also stimulates the activity of the connective tissue. Now your skin is optimally prepared for the uptake of active ingredients.

In the final phase, highly concentrated micronised cosmeceuticals (such as hyaluronic acid, vitamins, kinetin and special enzymes) of high wavelength, perfectly matched to the condition of the skin, are channelled into the skin by means of ultrasound in a magnetic field. In this way they can unfold their full effect directly in the cells and the skin is optimally supplied with the active ingredients. This gives the freshly treated skin the necessary capacity for renewal and enables it to form new collagen itself.
