Akne Medical Needling

Old skin cells block our pores. Sebum cannot drain away and inflammation develops. With Acne Medical Peelings we can now introduce active ingredients that make our sebaceous glands smaller. The inflammation subsides and the acne disappears.

Increased production of sebum plays an essential part in the development of acne. As long as this sebum can drain away unhindered, the result is ‘only’ shiny skin. If increased sebum production compresses the accumulated mass of sebum, the sebum produced no longer reaches the surface of the skin, and - mild acne - so-called blackheads develop. The accumulated sebum forms a breeding ground for bacteria and thus leads to inflammation of the affected area of skin.

Acne Medical Needling works through two effects:

• With the finest needles driven by a high-performance motor, 240 micro-injuries per second are ‘inflicted’ on the skin of the face, neck or décolletage, which stimulate the regeneration process of the skin and thus the formation of new collagen.
• In addition, hyaluronic acid (and other highly effective substances too) is applied to the skin, with which the natural, moisture-binding hyaluronic acid is channelled into the depths of the skin where it can take effect.

The skin renews itself as a result. Excessive sebum production is regulated. Small acne scars improve. Large pores improve. Our skin becomes receptive to effective cream treatments against acne.
