Which breast implant suits me?
The right implant decides whether you are happy with shape and size, whether the breasts feel natural and whether the result stays beautiful in the long term. The Kuzbari Centre usually recommends anatomically shaped silicone gel implants with a polyurethane coating; the size follows from your wishes, the measurements and the 3D simulation.

Dr. René Draxler explains shapes and sizes
Round or oval, 200 ml or 300 ml? Which implants exist, why not every implant suits every patient and how we find the right one.
Shape: anatomical or round?
Anatomical implants are closer to the female breast shape and are therefore used most often today. They come in several variants: classic, wider for a smaller build and broader shoulders, taller for tall, slim women. Round implants give more fullness in the upper area.
| Feature | Anatomical | Round |
|---|---|---|
| Shape | Teardrop, like the natural breast | Evenly domed |
| Effect | Natural line of the cleavage | More fullness in the upper area |
| Adapting to body shape | Classic, wide or tall | Via profile and volume |
The right size
There are around 200 implant sizes from 50 ml to over 1,000 ml; 180 to 200 ml correspond to roughly one cup size. Your wish comes first. Then we measure the vertical and horizontal diameter of the breast and check how elastic the tissue is — which shows what makes sense for your body.
Implants of different sizes can also even out asymmetric breasts. Evening out asymmetry
Try on any size virtually
In the consultation you try on any size virtually on your own body — round or oval, 200 or 300 ml — and find out what you feel most comfortable with.
Filling and position
Silicone implants are form-stable yet highly elastic; the cohesive gel does not leak. There are two options for the position: between the breast gland and the pectoral muscle, or beneath the muscle. There is no one-size-fits-all — the position beneath the muscle is usually recommended; for women who do a lot of sport, have enough soft tissue and do not want a very large implant, the position above the muscle is often a good choice.
Why a polyurethane coating
Textured implants integrate better with the tissue and hardly rotate or shift. A polyurethane coating is ideal: in a US Food and Drug Administration study of more than 40,000 patients over up to ten years, around one in five women suffered from capsular contracture. With polyurethane this risk falls from about 20 to around 2 per cent — only one in 50 women.

We have produced a short webinar answering the most important questions about one of the most important questions for patients: which implant is right for me?
Which breast implant is the right one for me?
- What influence does the choice of breast implant have on an aesthetically excellent result?
- What must be borne in mind so that the augmented breast also feels good after the operation?
- What matters when choosing the implant so that the result also stays beautiful in the long term?

View profileFrequently asked questions about implants
Which implants does the Kuzbari Centre use?
Silicone gel implants from renowned manufacturers with EMA and CE marking, usually anatomical and polyurethane-coated.
How many millilitres make one cup size?
About 180 to 200 ml.
Round or anatomical — which is better?
Anatomical implants usually look more natural and are used more often today; round ones give more fullness at the top. The simulation shows which shape suits you.
Above or below the muscle?
Usually below the muscle. Above the muscle is an option if there is enough soft tissue and a very large implant is not wanted.
What does the polyurethane coating achieve?
The implant integrates well with the tissue, and the risk of capsular contracture falls from about 20 to around 2 per cent.
Are implants included in the price?
Yes, brand-name implants are included in a breast augmentation from 5,300 euros. Costs
