First examine, then treat:
Pigmentation disorders
Pigmentation spots occur in quite different colours and shapes. Some appear in particular seasons. Others accompany us all our lives. Some bother us because they give away our true age. Others again are extremely dangerous.
This is where the strength of the Kuzbari Centre for Aesthetic Medicine shows, where cosmetics, dermatology and plastic surgery work closely together. It goes without saying that before any therapy pigmentation spots are examined by our specialists in dermatology with the most modern technologies available.
Types of pigmentation disorder.
Age spots
Age spots are harmless, slightly raised, light brown spots that particularly like to appear on the face and the back of the hand. They are, however, also an important indicator of one's true age, one that is often neglected.
Sun damage
The daily dose of sunlight makes our spirits shine, but – hand on heart – it can happen that you have caught a few too many rays of sun or have not applied cream consistently. And probably every one of us has at some point woken from a nap in the shade to find themselves in the blazing sun – with an unpleasant result: sunburn.
On the question of what can be done for the skin so that the damage does not turn out too serious, we also have valuable tips ready that are well worth taking to heart. (1) Regular mole checks can save lives (2) Our peels and the IPL flash lamp help against aesthetically disturbing age spots (3) Give your skin back the necessary fluid and vitamins
Freckles
Freckles are small, light brown spots. They occur above all in blond and red-haired people and usually become stronger through the increased exposure to the sun in summer, and fade in winter. In some people they even disappear entirely during the cold season. Freckles cannot be removed, but they can be bleached - through peels or creams, for instance.
Malignant melanoma
This skin disease, also known as "melanoma", is a malignant tumour. Recognised in good time, it can be removed successfully by surgery. Any suspicion should be clarified by a dermatologist as quickly as possible. In addition a dermatological preventive check once a year is advisable.
Haemangiomas
In everyday speech people talk of a strawberry mark, the doctor of a haemangioma. Both mean the same thing, however: an accumulation of vascular tissue on the face or the body. The red marks look dramatic above all on the face. They can certainly affect one's self-confidence. The marks look irritating, but are usually harmless.
Moles
Moles are harmless, mostly brown marks, some of which are congenital and some of which arise over the course of life. Since certain types of moles carry within them the risk of a malignant type of cancer developing, it is important to determine the exact type of every pigmented skin growth. At the Kuzbari Centre for Aesthetic Medicine we have one of the most modern devices for digital incident light microscopy. This means that every mole that could theoretically become suspicious can be documented immediately. That is an advantage particularly with patients who have many moles, since it gives a good overview. Aesthetically disturbing moles can be removed after a dermatological examination.
Forms of treatment.
Conspicuous pigmentation disorders should be examined promptly by dermatologists. Examined in good time, they can be treated gently and efficiently with modern therapy options. Because only healthy skin is beautiful skin. All therapies are pre-treated and post-treated with special, medical creams.
Peels

At the Kuzbari Centre we use different peeling substances such as TCA, glycolic acid, vitamin A or phenol. The range extends from harmless, light exfoliation courses through to deep procedures with a high potential for change. Depending on what is best for your individual skin quality, our beauticians choose the substance that is most effective for you. Read more

IPL

With the help of IPL, damage caused by light and by age, such as the widely known age spots that have arisen over decades, is successfully remedied. Pigmentation spots that patients find disturbing and unattractive (caused among other things by hormonal influences in the body such as the contraceptive pill, for example) can also be treated effectively with IPL.
