What is Renuvion?
Renuvion is a device that uses helium gas and radiofrequency energy to create a fine plasma jet; applied beneath the skin, it makes the connective tissue contract immediately and stimulates the formation of new collagen.
In the past, with soft connective tissue, a lifting operation with a long scar was often the only option after liposuction. Renuvion closes the gap between “liposuction alone” and “lifting with an incision”: it is applied in the same procedure through the liposuction access points.

How Renuvion works
First the fat is removed, using power-assisted liposuction or VASER depending on the findings. The surgeon then guides the Renuvion probe beneath the skin through the same access points. The energy of the plasma jet acts briefly and precisely on the connective tissue; the helium gas cools at the same time so that the surrounding tissue is protected.

Renuvion works wherever skin needs a little support after liposuction.
Renuvion or a lifting operation?
Renuvion tightens with slight to moderate excess skin; if the skin clearly hangs over, for example after major weight loss, a lifting operation is the more reliable approach.
Renuvion does not remove skin; it contracts the existing tissue. How far that goes depends on skin thickness, elasticity and quantity. At the first consultation we tell you openly what Renuvion can achieve for you — and when a tummy tuck or arm lift is better.

One procedure, two effects
Because Renuvion is used in the same procedure as liposuction, there is no second anaesthetic and no second recovery period. Recovery is the same as after liposuction: socially presentable after about two days, desk work after two to four days.
The process in five steps
Consultation, preparation, surgery and aftercare all take place in the same building. If you wish, surgery can usually take place just a few weeks after the consultation.

- Pre-op talk and safety check
Surgical plan, instructions, anaesthesia consultation and blood test. The results form the basis for clearance for surgery.
- Marking and surgery

What is Renuvion?
