Univ. Doz. Dr. Rafic Kuzbari brings decades of experience in plastic surgery and also takes on difficult revision operations on previously operated noses. He has worked for years with the piezotome, the ultrasonic instrument for bone work on the nose.

Having studied in Vienna, he was interim head of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Vienna’s Wilhelminenspital. He is sought after worldwide as a speaker at medical congresses, has trained a large number of young plastic surgeons and teaches as a university lecturer (Universitätsdozent) at the Medical University of Vienna.

As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, DDr. Wittmann does not think of the nose in isolation but as part of a framework: nasal bone, septum, alar cartilages and the overlying soft tissue together determine form and function. Where the findings are suitable, she works with the dorsal preservation technique; functional problems can be resolved well in the same procedure.

During the operation she uses the projectometer to measure the projection of the tip and the height of the bridge, before the first step and after each further one, each time against the plan from the 3D simulation. She completed her specialist training in the minimum time; in 2026, together with Dr. Christoph Grill, she studied new rhinoplasty techniques during a fellowship in Brazil.
