Hyaluronic acid gives the skin volume and suppleness – and, thanks to its enormous capacity to store water, is perfectly suited to injectable wrinkle treatment. But that is not the only advantage: contrary to what the name suggests, hyaluron is a natural product and is found throughout the body, but above all in the intercellular spaces of the skin.
Hyaluronic acid is responsible for our moisture management and works true wonders, because it plumps up, supports collagen and elastic fibres and can even intercept free radicals. Unfortunately our natural hyaluron reserves empty steadily with advancing age. The consequence is that the skin's firmness and moisture dwindle and wrinkles appear. Inconveniences:
Temporary swelling is possible and likely after the procedure. Bruising occurs occasionally. It can, however, be covered over with make-up without any problem.
