What is a Brazilian Butt Lift?
A Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) is buttock shaping with your own fat: fat is removed from the abdomen, flanks or thighs, prepared and placed precisely into the buttocks — for more volume and a rounder shape without an implant.
The procedure works twice over: the waist becomes narrower because fat is removed from the flanks and abdomen, and the buttocks gain fullness. Only this combination creates the proportion many people want — an hourglass shape that looks natural, not exaggerated.
Because your own tissue is used, the result feels natural. Once the fat has taken hold it stays permanently, as long as your weight remains stable.
The SAFE technique
SAFE stands for Separation, Aspiration, Fat Equalization: the fat is first gently loosened from the tissue, then removed and finally distributed evenly. This keeps the fat cells as intact as possible for the transfer and leaves the donor sites smooth.
Safety comes first: one of our experienced anaesthetists is present at every procedure. Surgery takes place without time pressure in the centre’s own operating theatres.

Home after the recovery room or one night with us. For two weeks sleep mainly on your front at night; desk work after three to seven days.

Prolonged sitting after about three to four weeks; depending on the area, you can start exercising from two weeks. The transferred fat takes hold; the final shape shows after three to six months.

What does SAFE mean in a BBL?

Do I have to stay overnight?
After recovering in the recovery room you can usually go home. For larger procedures or if you wish, you stay one night with us.
When can I sit again?
You should avoid prolonged sitting for about four weeks so as not to put pressure on the transferred fat. At night you sleep mainly on your front for two weeks.
When can I go back to work?
Desk work is possible after three to seven days, and most people feel socially presentable after one to two weeks.
