An alert gaze, radiant eyes - eye lifting with fillers & co
Everyone knows dark circles and a tired gaze after a long night. Anyone who genetically tends towards a deep tear trough, hooded eyelids or “bedroom eyes”, however, has this problem area permanently. There are, though, treatments that can get it under control.

Sunken eyes and dark circles can quickly make the face look unattractive. Even with skin care and cosmetics they cannot always be concealed, especially when they are genetically determined. Those affected suffer greatly from this, because they are frequently asked again and again whether they are ill or stressed. Depending on the problem there are several treatment options, which can also be combined
Hyaluronic acid filler
The lower eyelid can be plumped up with hyaluronic acid. With a minimal puncture the product is introduced along the tear trough. As a result the light is reflected better at this point and dark shadows appear noticeably softened, the gaze is alert and clear again. There is virtually no downtime. Sport and sauna should be avoided on the same day. In a few cases bruises and slight swelling occur at the puncture sites. After about a year the treatment should be refreshed; after that a follow-up treatment can usually be postponed for longer and longer.
“Brow Lift”
If the eyes look tired and the outer corners of the eyes slope downwards, or the first fine lines are visible, a “brow lift” may be the suitable treatment. The substance used is injected beneath the eyebrows in order to lift them and to tighten the skin. Here too, bruises and swelling can arise in the worst case, but this is likewise rarely so. It is important not to massage the treated area, as the product could shift as a result. After about 2 weeks the result is complete and lasts between 3 and 6 months.
Eyelid lift
If the firmness of the tissue on the upper eyelid diminishes and excess skin becomes apparent, this is quickly corrected with a small operation. The downtime is somewhat longer here; you should reckon with swelling for 3 weeks and should not schedule any important appointments in this period.
Lifestyle tips
An improvement is often achieved with small changes in everyday life. A few tips that can help:
Drink plenty of water: Well-hydrated skin looks plumper, rosier and firmer.
The right eye cream: This is richer and often less irritating than the normal face cream; the delicate skin around the eyes needs particularly intensive care
Enough sleep: This should go without saying, but is often not so easy. A tired organism has poorer blood circulation and lymph shines through the skin under the eye more strongly. 8 hours of sleep a day are recommended in order to be able to start the day fit and rested.
Avoid stress factors: Stress prevents our body from functioning properly. You should therefore take time again and again to shift down a gear, plan breaks and treat yourself to something good. Even a quarter of an hour of active relaxation a day shows positive effects.
