A formula for the perfect female breast

Science has found it!

At the 3rd international breast symposium in Düsseldorf a study on the perfect female breast was presented. 100 different photos of were analysed in order to find out the formula for a beautiful breast.

According to this, 45 per cent of the breast should lie above the line running through the nipples (nipple meridian) and 55 per cent below it.
The nipple should be directed upwards at a medium angle. As far as the aesthetic assessment is concerned, cup size is of little relevance.

In the second part of the study the pictures of women after aesthetic procedures were evaluated.
The conclusion was that breasts that have been operated on are perceived as natural and attractive when they correspond to the proportions established beforehand – again irrespective of size.

A beautiful breast thus no longer seems to be a matter of opinion, but a scientific finding that surgeons and patients alike can use as a guide in breast reconstructions, but also in aesthetic procedures such as augmentations, reductions or lifts.
