Bye-bye dark circles!
The face mask has been part of our daily life for a year now. No wonder that the eyes - and above all the often dark circles beneath them - are increasingly coming into focus. It does not have to be that way, because hyaluronic acid helps us back to a fresh, alert facial expression.

Never again dark circles? A wish that can come true even without a hundred years of Sleeping Beauty slumber: hyaluronic acid lifts the tear trough, and the dark shadows and dark circles are reduced. In addition, wrinkles and eye bags can be reduced - the face looks fresher and younger again.
Where do dark circles come from?
Responsible for the dark shading under the eyes are usually blood vessels showing through or a hyperpigmentation of the skin. The former is mostly caused by an unbalanced lifestyle. Too little sleep, dehydration and alcohol readily leave their first traces in the so-called tear trough, as the area is called.
Hyperpigmentation under the eyes, by contrast, is often the consequence of increased UV exposure. The cause here can, however, also be an inherited predisposition to age-related tissue loss.
How does hyaluronic acid help against the dark shadows?
To free the eyes from shadows, the hyaluronic acid is injected superficially into the tear troughs. It is a natural product which is found in the spaces between the cells of the body. Thanks to the enormous water-storing capacity of the filler, the eye areas regain more volume, which in turn ensures that the network of vessels showing through under the eyes is concealed.
The positive effect of the fillers against dark circles lasts up to a year. The treatment can then be repeated. In terms of time, the injections around the eyes are comparable with conventional filler treatments, which mostly take no longer than 20 minutes.
