Beauty no-gos with hair loss
Hair loss can affect anyone. It often has genetic causes, but there are a few things you should definitely avoid if your hair reacts sensitively.

Here they are, the no gos, so that you can enjoy a beautiful head of hair for a long time:
1-Rough handling
Rubbing, scratching, styling with hot air and curling tongs, putting on and taking off caps that are too tight or too rough - these are all moments in which our hair suffers. Some of us cope with this better, in others this behaviour leads to hair breakage and hair loss. Constant rubbing in particular roughens and disturbs the cuticle layer of the hair, which can lead to split ends and to the hair breaking off. So it is better to let your hair air-dry now and then.
2-Experiments
We would like nothing better than to try out something new all the time. A new hair colour? Nothing could be easier: dark this month, red the next and then blonde again after all? Better not, colouring stresses the hair and makes it thinner in the long run. When lightening in particular, the keratin bridges in the hair are damaged and the hair becomes especially sensitive to external influences.
3-The wrong hairstyle
All right, styling and colouring are not the best idea, but surely anything goes when it comes to the hairstyle? Yes and no - here, too, there are "better" and "worse" options. Anyone with thin hair should have it cut to one length so that the hairs protect each other from split ends. Tight ponytails and knots can also put a strain on the hair. Overnight, a loose bun or a plait is recommended in order to reduce rubbing against the pillow.
4-The wrong care
Ask your hairdresser or your dermatologist to recommend a product that cares for the scalp and the hair. Oily hair and dandruff are often linked to hair loss, but drying shampoos are often too aggressive and only make the problem worse. Some care products such as hairspray, dry shampoo, styling products and leave-ins are also not always as caring as they promise. You should comb your hair through thoroughly at least once a day and carefully undo knots in order to smooth the cuticle layer. A weekly scalp massage and nourishing masks give the hair a break and return the moisture it has lost.
5-Diet
Last but not least, diet also plays an important role. Protein from meat, fish, pulses and dairy products in particular, as well as healthy fats such as avocados, vegetable oil and nuts, provide strength and shine. An incorrect diet or a deficient one often shows first in the skin, hair and nails.
Be patient! Hair loss cannot disappear overnight. You should wait at least 3 months before a clearly visible improvement occurs. Try to find out why the hair loss came about: stress or a cold in the preceding months are often the triggers.
If your hair loss is genetically determined, however, a Hair transplantation with Dr. Draxler can lead to a full head of hair again. His methods are safe and proven and the leading methods on the market.
