Building site belly: for a flat middle (even after the festive feasting)
With the holidays the culinary festive season began too. For besides giving and receiving presents with your nearest and dearest, Christmas is the time of culinary enjoyment. Delicacies are often served up in excess. It is to be assumed that this culinary highlight of the year does not pass us, or rather our bodies, by without trace.

Many then begin the new year with good resolutions: healthier eating and more exercise are the all time favourites here. Often, however, stressful everyday life does not allow them to be kept to and carried through consistently. When the holiday kilos then cling so stubbornly to hips and belly and there is no time, or indeed no desire, to do a detox juice cure and to exhaust yourself for hours on the cross trainer at the gym, there is a promising new method from the USA:
Cool Sculpting® is a non-invasive procedure which removes stubborn deposits of fat that cannot be reduced by sport or a healthy way of eating, by means of cold.
Of the cryolipolysis procedures examined at the Kuzbari Centre, Cool Sculpting® is currently the only technology approved for use for permanent fat reduction both by the US health authorities (FDA) and by the EU regulatory authorities. ‘After a comprehensive review of all clinical studies, we additionally carried out an internal survey at the Kuzbari Centre for Aesthetic Medicine. The excellent results and the high level of patient satisfaction more than convinced us’, says Univ. Doz. Dr. Rafic Kuzbari.
Here are a few more good tips you can pay attention to so that the festive calories do not land on your hips straight away:
Exercise
Integrate exercise into your everyday life. Over the Christmas days it does not have to be long training sessions; even a short walk, 30 minutes of gentle jogging combined with a few gymnastic or strength exercises, get the metabolism going and bring the calorie balance into equilibrium. Anyone who trains their muscles diligently before Christmas has won twice over, because muscles burn energy even at rest and keep working for us. So fit in a few more quick strength sessions at the gym ;)
Eating with enjoyment also means eating in moderation
You do not have to do without any of the Christmas delicacies if you eat them with enjoyment. Even half a portion of a carbohydrate-rich side dish, less of the rich gravy and more vegetables on the plate instead save calories, and you still have room for your favourite Christmas biscuits.
Replace biscuits with healthy nibbles
Nuts, mandarins and dried fruit taste wonderfully sweet, give healthy energy and provide plenty of vitamins and nutrients for the cold season. A healthy & calorie-reduced alternative to the sugar bomb that is mulled wine can be a fruit tea with spices, a little honey and a dash of wine or rum.
Our general tip:
Do not take it too strictly: enjoy the Christmas days and the festive meals in the circle of your loved ones. For it is also scientifically proven that anyone who eats their food together in a positive social environment is slimmer and less prone to being overweight.
