How much does a consultation appointment cost?

May I bring someone with me to the consultation?

You are very welcome to bring someone with you.

Costs & Finance

I am on parental leave/retired/unemployed/a student and would like to pay for my treatment in instalments. Is that possible?

If you yourself do not meet the requirements for finance - as in these cases - you have the option of naming a co-debtor in the loan agreement. That person should also be present at the finance meeting and bring the necessary documents. Your co-debtor serves the bank only as a security in case you should become unable to pay.

Unfortunately I do not meet the requirements, what can I do?

If you do not meet the criteria but have someone among your family or friends who meets all the criteria and will act as a guarantor for you, that person can submit the relevant documents and you complete the online application together.

What happens if my application is rejected?

The Kuzbari Centre makes the path to instalment payments easier for you and we are happy to support you with it. The decision as to whether your application is approved or rejected, however, lies with our finance partner. Should an application be rejected, there is, for example, the option of applying for finance through a guarantor.

My application has been approved, can I still change anything now?

Please note that once finance has been successfully concluded, a change is generally no longer possible.

I have two part-time jobs and earn more than €966 net in total. Are instalment payments possible in this way?

Unfortunately not. One of the requirements is that you have been employed by the same employer for at least one month and earn at least €1,110 net there.

I would like to pay off the loan after 1 month. Is that possible?

Yes, that is possible. You are not bound by the agreed term of the loan. You can pay more each month at any time or pay off the whole amount early. For all questions during the term (for example early repayment) you will receive more detailed information when your loan is concluded, as well as contact details you can turn to at any time with further questions.

I would like to make a down payment of more than €500. Is that possible?

It is entirely up to you whether you wish to pay us €500 or more as a down payment! €500 is the minimum down payment.

Can I pay more than the monthly instalment agreed?

That is usually not a problem. For all questions during the term (for example early repayment) you will receive more detailed information when your loan is concluded, as well as contact details you can turn to at any time with further questions.

Can the instalments also be debited from my partner's account, since he is my guarantor?

No, unfortunately that is not possible. As you are the patient, you are also the main borrower. The instalments are therefore debited from your account and not from your guarantor's account.

My guarantor and I both work abroad. Are instalment payments still possible?

No, unfortunately that is not possible. You must have both your main residence and your employer in Austria.

I am self-employed. Are instalment payments still possible?

In principle yes. The procedure differs slightly, however. On the one hand a down payment amounting to 20% of the cost of the treatment is required. On the other hand we need a copy of your debit card, your company name and information on how long you have been self-employed. Further documents may also be requested when your creditworthiness is checked.

breast augmentation at the Kuzbari Centre Vienna: frequently asked questions
Breast augmentation,
breast lift, implants

When can I work again?

Desk work can be resumed after a few days, although it is advisable to take about a week off.

When will I see the final result?

As a rule the result can be seen immediately, but it usually takes up to 12 months until all swelling has gone and one can speak of a lasting result.

When will I be socially presentable?

As a rule a few days after the procedure

When can I do sport again?

Endurance sport after 4 weeks, strength training after 6 weeks.

When may I take a bath or go swimming again?

A bath and swimming in fresh water are permitted after 4 weeks, swimming in salt water or chlorinated water after 6 weeks.

When may I touch my breasts normally again?

Depending on how you feel, after 2-3 weeks.

How long do I have to wear the bra with the strap?

Two weeks day and night, then a further week at night.

Will I be in pain?

Slight to moderate - a breast augmentation feels like severe muscle soreness. When you lie still it does not hurt. Changing position or touching the breast is uncomfortable, however. To manage the pain, patients are given painkillers on discharge and it is explained to you in precise detail how they are to be taken.

When may I shower?

On the day after the procedure.

Can I breastfeed after a breast augmentation with silicone implants?

Breastfeeding is just as possible after a breast augmentation as it was before. As the breast implants are placed behind the existing glandular tissue or behind the chest muscle, the procedure does not restrict the ability to breastfeed.

Only with a breast lift or a breast reduction can the reduction of the existing glandular tissue lead to restrictions and therefore to lower milk production.

How long after a breast augmentation should I wait before becoming pregnant?

About 1 year should pass between the procedure and a pregnancy so that the skin can adapt to the new situation.

Should I wait with my breast surgery until I have completed my family planning?

The question here is whether family planning has already been completed or not. If you are planning children in the next 1-2 years, I would rather advise waiting until family planning is complete. If a child is not wanted for several years, you may well consider a breast augmentation.

How long must I avoid lifting my child after breast surgery?

You should take things a little easy for the first 2 weeks. That means that until the end of the second week you may lift a weight of no more than 5 kg.  From the 3rd week it is possible to lift your baby again. Older children after 4 weeks.

Depending on how you feel, after 2-3 weeks.

Body contouring,
liposuction & body lift

Can I also pay for a treatment in instalments?

Yes - after the initial consultation you will receive a detailed overview of the costs, on the basis of which we can discuss all the options for instalment payments.

How long is the waiting time for an appointment?

We try everything to keep the waiting time as short as possible. On average you will be given an appointment within 1-2 weeks.

Are there guarantees on the result?

You have the guarantee of being advised, operated on and cared for afterwards by a superbly trained specialist in plastic surgery who has specialised in aesthetic body shaping. This gives you the best possible treatment with the most modern techniques and the highest safety standards. Your satisfaction is our highest concern.

Is Dr. Saalabian an experienced doctor?

Dr. Saalabian has worked in plastic surgery for more than 10 years and has already carried out more than 1,000 plastic surgical procedures. For years he has been one of the leading experts and opinion formers in body-shaping procedures such as liposuction, fat transplantation and body lifts. Dr. Saalabian is known worldwide through his continuous further training and expert meetings with international authorities in the field of body contouring. Because of his high standards and his love of the field, he works constantly on innovative techniques and to the greatest possible degree on patient safety.

Are procedures carried out on people under 18?

Aesthetic procedures are possible between the ages of 16 and 18 only in extreme exceptional cases. For body-shaping measures I recommend reaching the age of majority as a necessary requirement.

What happens if the power fails during my procedure?

The highest safety standards are guaranteed at our centre. In the rare event of a complete power failure in Vienna, our own in-house emergency generators allow us to complete any procedure under way without difficulty up to its planned end.

Which areas are suitable for liposuction?

Almost every area of the body is suitable for liposuction. Liposuction is most frequently carried out on the abdomen, the thighs, flanks, hips, upper arms, neck, lower legs, inner knees and back.

Do scars remain visible after liposuction?

With liposuction the procedure and the shaping are carried out through only the smallest punctures of a few millimetres at most. (max. 2-5mm) Even these are largely placed in areas that are as inconspicuous as possible. As a rule these punctures are barely visible after some time. Classic scars such as those from procedures involving additional incisions do not remain.

Is liposuction carried out under general anaesthesia?

No general anaesthesia is needed to carry out liposuction, or a fat transplantation, free of pain. For more extensive procedures we generally recommend so-called "twilight sedation" (in addition to the local anaesthetic), administered by an experienced anaesthetist. In our view this is not only the safest way to carry out the procedure, but also the most comfortable and least painful method for our patients.

Can 10kg, 20kg or 50kg be removed by liposuction?

In some states of the USA only volumes of about 2 litres (equivalent to about 2kg) of pure fatty tissue may legally be removed. In our experience, outpatient liposuction of 3-4 litres can be carried out well and safely where the general state of health is good. For liposuction of more than 4 litres I recommend planning an inpatient stay of one night with us.

Overall, however, it must be said that liposuction does not serve to reduce the kilos on the scales, but to improve the shape of the body.

How long does liposuction take?

Depending on the extent and complexity, liposuction takes between one and four hours.

Is the result of liposuction permanent?

Fat cells that have been removed cannot re-form. A lasting improvement can therefore be expected after liposuction. The only important thing is that you do not put on weight in an uncontrolled way after liposuction, as otherwise the fat cells that are naturally present can become larger and make the result worse.

From when will I be socially presentable again?

Depending on the extent and course of the liposuction, after about two to seven days.

Is liposuction painful?

The technique we use is completely free of pain. That is also very important to me in order to be able to guarantee you the best possible result. In the days after the procedure you can expect complaints similar to muscle soreness.

What actually happens to the fat that has been removed?

The fat cells that have been removed can, for example, be reintroduced in various areas as part of improving the body contour, such as the buttocks, the breast or the facial area.

The greater part of the fatty tissue removed is collected in special containers, the pure quantity of fat is measured and it is then disposed of properly.

Which areas are suitable for HD Body Contouring?

With trained bodies, where the final finishing touch is often still missing to show the body off to full advantage, very frequently in the abdominal and lower abdominal area, on the flanks, upper arms and thighs.

In general I use the individual techniques of HD Body Contouring in almost all of my liposuction procedures in order to achieve the best possible result. In summary, HD Body Contouring  is above all  about defining the body.

Is the result of body contouring permanent?

Fat cells that have been removed cannot re-form. A lasting improvement can therefore be expected after body contouring. The only important thing is that you do not put on weight in an uncontrolled way after the procedure, as otherwise the fat cells that are naturally present can become larger and make the result worse.

Which areas are suitable for a body lift?

Body lifts can be carried out in almost all areas where the main problem is poor or excess skin, often also markedly sagging skin. Most frequently I carry out abdominoplasty, upper arm lifts and thigh lifts. Many non-surgical measures such as heat-based methods, for example radiofrequency, laser and ultrasound, can achieve a minimal tightening in selected patients - a genuine tightening of several centimetres can be achieved only by a surgical lift. Where skin has already been affected by weight gain and loss, or where skin quality is too poor, a visible tightening can likewise be achieved only with body lift surgery, which we carry out at the Kuzbari Centre.

Can a body lift be combined with liposuction?

Definitely! I carry out liposuction as part of almost every body lift. This not only allows me to shape the body far better, it is also fundamentally a considerably gentler procedure for my patients. With a pure skin tightening I can solve the problem of poor skin quality or excess skin. If I additionally use liposuction or HD Body Contouring, the silhouette of the body can be improved substantially as well.

As a rule the result can be seen immediately, but it usually takes up to 12 months until all swelling has gone and one can speak of a lasting result.

When will I be socially presentable?

If you do not want people to notice that you have had surgery, reckon on 2-3 weeks of social downtime. From a purely medical point of view, however, most patients can take up desk work and everyday activities after just 3 to 4 days.

When can I do sport again?

Endurance sport after 4 weeks, strength training after 6 weeks.

Will I be in pain?

After nasal surgery our patients only rarely report pain. Some patients experience slight headaches. Others report no pain at all. All patients cope well with the painkillers prescribed by Dr. Kuzbari.

Can I pay for my rhinoplasty in instalments?

Of course, at the Kuzbari Centre we offer our patients the option of instalment payments with a term of up to 60 months.
