This is how Coolsculpting works

The pads of fat to be treated are drawn into a vacuum cup and brought gradually, by means of cooling modules, to temperatures of down to 3 degrees Celsius. In addition the system has integrated safety mechanisms which protect patients optimally.

While a slight pressure and an intense feeling of cold spread out in the first minutes of the process, these quickly subside again. Depending on needs, the treatment lasts about an hour. Time that you can use for a good book, in front of the laptop or simply for yourself - before it is back to everyday life.

Immediately after the treatment a slight redness or swelling of the treated zone may nevertheless occur. Numbness or bruises may likewise arise. These side effects are merely temporary, however, and disappear by themselves after a short time.

After the treatment

Now the process of breaking down the deposits of fat begins. The crystallised fat cells are gradually carried away by the immune system. After a few weeks the treated region is barely recognisable: up to 25 per cent of the fat cells have disappeared and the layer of fat is thus reduced.
