MiraDry - the effective solution against sweat marks
Whether on a hot date or walking on the beach, at work or at the summer party - sweating is the last thing we want. MiraDry removes sweat glands permanently - so forget sweat patches and unpleasant odour

We sweat in order to cool our body. That is important and healthy. Some people are more prone to sweating. Particularly active people, since their metabolism is increased. Hormonal fluctuations, detoxification (for example from nicotine or alcohol) or stress also encourage increased production of sweat. Anyone who has to shower or change their clothes several times a day without any apparent reason, however, probably suffers from a pathological overproduction of sweat.
Under the arms in particular this can be very unpleasant for those affected, because in addition to the visible sweat patches an unpleasant odour often develops through the normal bacteria of our skin. The feeling of being unhygienic and of being uncomfortable in one’s own body lead to a great burden. Those affected often withdraw from their social surroundings and avoid public events.
An innovative method from America offers the solution - miraDry
Only about 2% of all the sweat glands of the body are located under the arms. MiraDry destroys them with electromagnetic waves (microwaves) and thus prevents the formation of sweat in this place. Since all the other glands remain untouched, the cooling function of the body also remains intact.
Painless and permanent
The treatment is virtually painless. Some patients feel a slight tugging, which is at most experienced as mildly unpleasant. After one session the result is usually complete; rarely is a 2nd session advised. The destroyed sweat glands do not grow back - you are permanently free of sweat.
A welcome side effect
A pleasant side effect is the reduction of underarm hair in many patients. The hair roots lie close to the sweat glands and are therefore partly destroyed during the treatment as well.
Enjoying life free of sweat again
At last the worries about wet underarms and unpleasant odour are over. Wear and do what you want again and enjoy a new zest for life.
Further tips against excessive sweating
Here we have a few more tips that can help to reduce excessive sweating and underarm odour:
- Drink water: taking in fluid cools from the inside; ice cubes and cool towels on the forearms or the back of the neck also bring the body temperature down.
- Shaving: the bacteria responsible for the odour can multiply better where there is heavy hair growth. Shaving therefore protects a little against the development of odour.
- Deodorants: these are best applied straight after a bath or shower so that the bacteria have no chance to multiply. Although antiperspirants with aluminium salts help effectively, they should be avoided, because an associated risk of cancer cannot yet be entirely ruled out
- Air supply: whether with a fan or a ventilator - a cool draught of air helps the body to regulate its temperature.
- The right food: avoid spicy and hot foods - they only make you sweat even more!
- Exercise: regular exercise helps to regulate the production of sweat; the sweat glands "learn" when they have to become active and when they should scale back a little.
- The right clothing: the right fabrics help to cool the body. Light, breathable clothing is ideal, for example silk, linen or special sportswear.
We hope you have a relaxed - and above all sweat-free - summer!
