The Kuzbari Centre is one expert richer: Dr. Ali Saalabian

Since the beginning of January we have had a new face with us: Dr. Ali Saalabian, specialist in plastic surgery. "Dr. Saalabian is an incredibly precise surgeon", is how Univ. Doz. Dr. Kuzbari describes his new colleague, "and beyond that I value his unconditional commitment to his patients as much as his values, his integrity and his human manner."

His career

After Dr. Ali Saalabian had completed his studies at the Medical University of Graz in the minimum time, he worked at various renowned European clinics, such as the Clinic for Hand Surgery in Bad Neustadt/Saale, Rhön-Klinikum AG - one of the largest specialist clinics in Europe, and at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg. In July 2012 Dr. Saalabian moved to the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Rudolfstiftung, where he worked until most recently.

His motivation

As a child, after a serious sports accident, Dr. Saalabian had to be treated as a patient himself for a longer period in a department of plastic surgery. There he was deeply impressed by the incredible achievements doctors were able to accomplish.

Motivated by this, he decided to learn the subject of plastic surgery himself. ‘What is beautiful for me about this subject is being able to make people happy, often with only small treatments and procedures", says Dr. Ali Saalabian.

 Focus on body shaping

Scientifically Dr. Saalabian sets his focus in the field of body shaping, where among other things he carries out research on ‘body contouring’ after massive weight loss. His specialist areas include:
