‘Enlarging’ breasts with the pill
Patients who are toying with the idea of a breast augmentation often also hope that their breast will become larger in a “natural” way by taking the contraceptive pill. However, this attempt to make the breast grow by taking hormones only makes sense in some cases and is usually not permanent either.

Do breasts become larger from the contraceptive pill?
Whether the breast grows as a result of taking the pill depends mainly on whether a certain amount of your own breast tissue was already present beforehand. If a woman has very little breast, then it is also rather unlikely that the breast will grow as a result of taking the pill. If breast tissue is naturally present, the likelihood that the breasts will become larger is also given. In general, it can therefore be said that if a woman has hardly any breast or none at all, taking the pill will bring the desired result only in rare cases.
It should not be forgotten that the contraceptive pill can bring with it side effects that are not to be underestimated. It should therefore never be taken primarily for aesthetic reasons, but always for medical reasons (or for contraception).
Do the breasts become smaller again after stopping the pill?
What exactly happens after stopping the pill can never be predicted precisely. Often the breast stays as it is, sometimes it also returns to its original size and shape. How the individual woman reacts to taking and stopping the contraceptive pill can therefore hardly be predicted. Anyone who wants a permanent and predictable enlargement of the breast should in any case consult a surgeon and consider a breast augmentation with an implant.
