3 reasons why your breasts become smaller
It happens that women have always been completely happy with their bust and then it suddenly changes drastically in a short time. The female breast is very susceptible to hormonal changes and fluctuations in weight. So what can the reason be that your breasts have suddenly become noticeably smaller? Here the 3 most common reasons are summarised for you.

1. You have lost weight
Besides the glandular tissue, the female breast consists largely of fatty tissue. It is therefore relatively likely that with a general loss of weight the breast visibly loses volume too. The distribution of fat in the body naturally varies from person to person, and it may be that in one person the weight loss is noticed first on the bottom and in another first on the bust.
2. You have stopped taking the pill
Another fairly common reason for a loss of volume in the female breast is coming off the contraceptive pill. While taking the pill often goes together with an increase in breast size, with coming off it the opposite happens. The hormones in the contraceptive pill, which simulate a pregnancy for your body, can lead to a marked enlargement of the breast. That can be the case, but it does not have to be. When you come off it, this effect naturally wears off again. The breast becomes ‘smaller’ again.
3. You do a great deal of sport
A new, extreme exercise routine can also be a reason for a loss of volume in the breast. Here it is similar to point 1. Even if you do not lose weight, the ratio of muscle to fat in your body changes. You weigh the same, but you gain muscle mass and lose fatty tissue. This makes your body more defined overall, but the breast, which consists mainly of fatty tissue, becomes smaller as well.
