Dr. Jessica Wittmann has always been interested in working with her hands, even as a young child. At the age of three, she loved taking apart and reassembling devices like alarm clocks, and later pottered and carved. So she had a passion for crafts, as well as art, from an early age.

This passion and the high standards she sets for herself and her medicine run through the entire course of Dr. Wittmann's life. From an early age, she was fascinated by facial surgery as the "supreme discipline" of surgery. Operations on the face demand the highest degree of precision and aesthetic sensibility. Every step must be well considered and weighed according to anatomical-functional and aesthetic aspects.

She completed her residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery in minimum time. And in doing so, was able to gain a deep understanding of the interrelationships of the bony, cartilaginous and soft tissue structures of the face and their effect on form, appearance and function. Her dental studies added more facets to this knowledge and sharpened her sense of facial aesthetics.
